In the 50’s, Virgil Exner introduced the “forward look” design theme to Chrysler. These animalistic streamlined cars inspired the industry but few years later the mainstream audience got tired of this extravagant style and in the 60’s Chrysler fired Exner. Short success for those weird but truly inspiring creatures.
